Mi Primary Bitcoin based in El Salvador $59,001 (MPB) has promoted two employees to leadership positions on its third anniversary. Reyna Chicas, who has been with MPB for nearly two years, has been appointed Director of Education, while Quentin Ehrenmann has been promoted to General Manager.
Reyna Chicas’ Successful Rise
Born in El Salvador, Reyna Chicas began her career at MPB as a teacher. She quickly rose to the position of Head Teacher and then Board Member, and will now serve as Director of Education. In the early days of the organization, she was sent to the Bitcoin Lake community in Guatemala for six months to teach.
Over the past year, she has played a key role in communication between El Salvador’s Ministry of Education and the MPB. In her new role, Chicas aims to reach more people through education.
“As a Salvadoran, I started this journey as a teacher and have experienced firsthand the power of education to drive growth and change. As Director of Education, I am determined to inspire more people with MPB and show that with passion, effort and dedication, we can build a better future.”
Contributions by Quentin Ehrenmann
Quentin Ehrenmann joined MPB in 2023 and was quickly promoted to the position of General Manager. In his first project, he moved to an undeveloped island off the east coast of El Salvador to start a circular economy focused on education. He later carried out education activities within the community in the mountains of El Salvador.
As Operations Director, Quentin helped expand MPB’s Independent Educators Network, which now has teachers in 27 countries. Ehrenmann aims to reach even more students in the future.
“From working on a special project on an island off the coast of El Salvador to joining the leadership team and helping to achieve our mission, my journey at Mi Primer Bitcoin has been incredibly rewarding. I look forward to helping independent Bitcoin education reach the next 100,000 students.”
The organization, shaped by the vision of MPB founder John Dennehy, aims to bring Bitcoin education to the masses. With its new leadership team, it aims to reach more communities and students and expand digital financial education.
Mi Primer Bitcoin continues to contribute to economic development by increasing the financial literacy of individuals through education. Chicas and Ehrenmann’s rise to leadership positions is seen as an important step in the organization’s achievement of its goals.
The organization plans to reach more people worldwide through its network of independent educators. The newly appointed leaders will play a key role in achieving this mission.
