New SEC Chairman
Paul, who has a close relationship with cryptocurrencies, has a new SEC Chairman and Gensler will take office after resigning on January 20. Trump wrote in his statement today:

A former SEC Commissioner from 2002-2008, Paul has been a strong advocate for transparency and investor protection. He earned his JD from Vanderbilt University School of Law and his AB from Wofford College.”
