BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes predicts that Bitcoin will reach an astronomical peak by the end of the current market cycle. In a new interview with Coinstelegram CEO Anna Tutova, Hayes stated that Bitcoin could reach seven-figures in about a year due to a massive increase in governments’ money supply.
Market Trends and Altcoins
“I believe it could be $1 million because every government is doing the same thing, printing money… It’s going to be a tremendous amount of money printing to make people feel happy,” Hayes said. He stated that such measures will be taken due to the slowdown in global growth.
“We targeted $1 million because the amount of money printing is going to be absolutely insane around the world.”
Hayes also said, “We are in a transition period in the global financial system. The elites will resist the change, which will lead to the printing of money never seen before because World War II. “They do not want the post-World War II US hegemony to change,” he said.
“We are experiencing a transition period in the global financial system, and elites will resist this change.”
Bitcoin’s current value is $94,244, down 1.8% in the last 24 hours. “Maybe 2026, 2027 is my guess, but who knows,” Hayes said when asked how long the current bull market will last.
Predictions on the Future of Cryptos
Although there have been some declines in altcoins, the overall crypto market cap has increased compared to a year ago. “The total value of cryptocurrencies has increased over the last 12 to 18 months, so I believe we are still in a bull market,” Hayes said.
Hayes’ predictions indicate that there may be major increases in the value of Bitcoin if governments’ money printing policies continue. Maintaining market trends can contribute to cryptocurrencies maintaining their overall uptrend.
Despite the fluctuations in the Bitcoin market, Arthur Hayes’ predictions may be noteworthy for investors. However, it should be noted that market conditions can change rapidly.
